Bought land in Thailand

Yes. You've read that correctly. After years of fumbling around, I finally own land in Thailand. In October, I can build a house very cheap.

I've made many mistakes over the years. I've looked back at my blogs in 2011/2012 when I was complaining I wanted Thai citizenship, and that I'd buy a house or condo right after I got it. Then I did get Thai citizenship, but I wasted much money (on relationships going bad), and it's taken me 7 years longer than what I wanted, but I finally own land , and it's 100% in my name, a chanote title. Even better, it cost me only 110 000 baht, or around 5000 Aussie dollars.

The land is fairly big, I could build many buildings, do a resort, restaurants etc. I can build a small house for under 70 000 baht or 4000 aussie dollars.

Paid 15000 baht for soil, but yeah, it will work out much cheaper than a condo, and I can do a lot more with land, and condos collapse or become unlivable after 20 years, so maybe everything I've been through was a blessing in disguise. However, I am very careful with money now, will not repeat the same mistakes. I even went as far as ending relationships after a very short time when it was clear there was no fiscal prospect being in those relationships.

Went through a lot of hardship in Australia, dealing with bullying bosses, and a lot of asshole, pretentious people everyday. But I've finally won. I actually bought my land in April, but I've been busy and I said I wouldn't blog on here until I bought a house, well I bought land.

I'm back in Australia to get a bit more money, because in October I want to build my house and have money to last me a while, plus I'll try to look for a job in Thailand.
