2013 is here

I accomplished my main goal in 2012 which was to get Thai citizenship.

I am unsure of my relationship status,I know it sounds weird that I don't know but it's hard to explain and is complicated.My love life always suffers at the end of each year.

I already have enough money to buy a nice house in Thailand,but I will return to Australia to save up money to buy a better house or multiple houses,as well as money for my future. I should be able to do it in a couple of years.

Since my last update I purchased the Rurouni Kenshin manga volumes 7,8,9 and Dynasty Warriors Next(which is actually a great game)..

Christmas presents for myself.

Got a Vita,Gravity Rush and some other stuff

From a technical perspective,the Vita is impressive as far as handheld video game systems go,with it's HD screen with crisp visuals,all it's app features and wifi(internet on it works great,where I've had problems connecting or using internet with my 3DS) and a  touchscreen that's strong enough so you don't need to rely on a stylus,and also because Vita games allow you to earn trophies that count to your PSN.

Gravity Rush is very creative and it's fun flying around the city and using gravity to your advantage when it comes to flying,falling,platforming and it allows you to see the city in different perspectives such as side-on or upside down,because you can walk upside underneath objects or along the side of buildings and the air combat is extremely fun.It's city is very atmospheric with it's darker style atmosphere.

I've bought some manga and books.The book stores in Thailand are much better than in Australia,they have a huge selection of manga and a much better selection of novels and books in general.I've even found Legend of Zelda series story books for Ocarina of Time,Phantom Hour Glass,Oracle of the Season or Ages(can't remember which one).

I also found a novel for Uncharted,which is a prequel to the first Uncharted game for PS3.

Anyways,soon I need to go back to Australia and earn some money for a few months and afterwards I'll have enough money to buy a house in Thailand :)

Love how I can buy lots of sushi in Thailand for cheap

Not just the raw fish version but the nori version(seaweed,cucumber,roe etc.).I caan buy a plate of it for an equivalent of 1 Australian dollar.

I am so happy,it's the happiest day of my life but I'll talk about it later :)

Until I'm in Thailand.Very nervous about my prospects of getting a Thai ID card.If I can't get one I probably won't blog after that because I'll be too depressed.

I've been playing To The Moon and love it and it's very inspirational,about a man who loves a woman who has aspergers and he stands by her no matter what.That's all for now.

Very hot and bored.

Temperature has been as high as 36.3 c outside.Bored and anxious about going to Thailand and about getting Thai ID card.Not feeling motivated to do much,getting Thai citizenship is everything to me now.

Beat The Last Story yesterday.One of the best JRPGs I've ever played(and I've played lots of JRPGs).

Random facts about me

I'm a big NFL fan even though I'm not American.My favorite team has always been the Miami Dolphins since 1993.Dan Marino is my favorite player of all time.I like NFL because I like turn-based strategy.But I only like NFL and not college football.

Sometimes my favorite food changes from certain Thai dishes,to Vietnamese food,Chinese food,Japanese food or a KFC zinger burger.

I love Japanese video games,anime,manga and I like to collect them.

I like Sci Fi.

Most of my favorite movies are Asian ones but I like some western ones.

I'm interested in astronomy and astrophysics because I'm interested in how the universe was created from a scientific perspective and how it works.

I mostly like Asian music(including modern and traditional)but I like some music from the west.I also like soundscape and ambience style music.I also like 80s music.

Most people I've met are control freaks whom think they need to force their ideologies/opinions on other people.

When I am with friends I get bored spending time with them after about 1 hour and I need to have alone time.

I prefer the company of animals and nature more than the company of most people.

Even though I'm shy and introverted, I've slept with lots of beautiful women(no I didn't pay for it)and I've had lots of beautiful girlfriends.

The temperature here feels like it's near 40 c.I feel like I'm baking even though I'm only wearing a shirt and shorts.

I'm going to eat at a Vietnamese restaurant tonight which makes me a bit happier.I love Vietnamese/Chinese food.

I've read some stories about people whom are half Thai,whom were born outside of Thailand(like me)who've had a hard time getting a Thai ID card,even though they have a Thai birth certificate.

 This obviously makes me worried because if I get a Thai ID card ,I can live a life of luxury in Thailand but if not I'll have to slave my ass off working hard for 30 years in Australia to maybe own a house by the time I'm 60(that's if I don't lose my job).

Been playing the Last Story for Wii lately but not in last 2 days because of personal problems making me feel too depressed to play it.But it's one of the best games from the 7th gen and perhaps my favorite game of 2012(I will reveal my game of the year on Gamespot later this year).

Nervous as the time draws near to my attempt at getting Thai citizenship.And also,the Christmas curse.

16 days until I'm in Thailand.I'm nervous because getting a Thai ID will be the most important thing I've ever achieved in my life.By far it's been the hardest thing I will have achieved if I get it,not because of what I've had to do,but because I've been at the mercy of my mother for so long because only she can register me as her Thai child, but has been very reluctant to do some very doable tasks,even thought I offered her 10 000 Australian dollars if I get Thai citizenship.

My mother actually said she wanted to live in Thailand,but will only do so if her and her boyfriend break up,but she's tried to talk me out of living in Thailand many times,and then said I don't need Thai citizenship and if I want to own a house in Thailand,I can give her the money and she will put the house in her name,and she said if I can only live in Thailand for 6 months of each year due to visa rules,she said that is enough,but I don't understand why she doesn't want me to be happy.

I've had to wait 3 years for my mother to do 2 very simple things for me so I could get a Thai birth certificate(she could have done those things in 1 hour and I offered her 10000 dollars if I'm successful in getting Thai citizenship..Hopefully the amphur I see in Thailand accepts my Thai birth certificate and my mother's documents and my grandmother and aunt identifying me and gives me a Thai ID card.

It seems everytime Christmas,the relationships with every girlfriend I've had has deteriorated or failed.It feels like a curse.Many times right before Christmas, the girlfriends I've had will change or will try to break up with me,even if I try hard to be sweet to them and make them happy.And then later on in the next year,they will come crawling back and will say they want me back.This has happened in 2011,2010,2008,2005,2001 and in 2000.

Christmas is a time when people are supposed to appreciate the people we have more than any other time,but with me it's always been the opposite.Every Christmas I've had has been a sad one or not a great one.It would be nice just for once if I could hold a girl I love on Christmas eve and Christmas day without worrying that she will try to leave me.

Hopefully I'll have Thai citizenship soon.

I finally got a Thai birth certificate (which took 2 years) . It shows I have a Thai mother which entitles me to Thai citizenship.I was at the mercy of my mother in trying to get one because only she could get me one because Thai law says only a Thai parent can get their child a Thai birth certificate.

However,a Thai Identification card is official recognition of Thai citizenship ,but a Thai birth certificate is the first step to getting a Thai ID card.You use your Thai ID card to buy land in Thailand,to get a Thai passport etc.I will need to go to the amphur my mother is registered on and show them my Thai birth certificate,my mother's Thai IDs and bring some of her relatives to get me registered on a Thabian Baan, which you need to be registered on in order to obtain a Thai ID card(official Thai citizenship).

The thing is,I want my mother to come with me to the amphur, because if she comes with me it will make things much easier. I even offered to pay her airfare,pay for a nice hotel,give her 10 000 Australian dollars if I'm successful in getting Thai citizenship(yes,really)but she doesn't want to do it.

 I asked my mother for years to get me a Thai birth certificate,which she could have easily done but refused to do that because at first she said she didn't want me to live in Thailand but now she said she wants to live in Thailand,but said I can give her the money to buy a house in her name,and she will let me live there,but I don't want to do it that way ,because foreigners can only stay in Thailand for 30 days without a visa. And because in the past, there was a law which said foreigners could stay a total of 180 days in Thailand per non- calender year. Thus, foreigners often did what's called visa runs,in which they cross into a neighboring country when their  30 day visa is about to expire , and will reenter Thailand, and do this for years.

I want to live in Thailand because I feel more comfortable with Thai culture and Thai people.I love the people,women,food,hot weather and shopping in Thailand ,and also the fact houses/apartments are  much more affordable in Thailand Australian house prices and food prices are ridiculously expensive and unaffordable.I just hope all goes how I want it to when I go to the amphur with my Thai relatives, because if I can go onto a  Thabian Baan(house book),then I can get a Thai ID card and will have official Thai citizenship.
